Westermo Merlin 4707 - LTE/NB-IoT Router

"The Westermo Merlin 4707 is an industrial mobile router designed for secure and reliable data communication via LTE Cat-M1 and NB-IoT, including support for specific LTE networks operating at 450 MHz. The router has been specifically developed for critical infrastructure, such as electricity distribution, smart grids, water management and industrial telemetry applications.

The Merlin 4707 features 4x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 SIM card slots and 2 serial ports that can be configured as RS-232 or RS-485. In addition, the router has 6 digital inputs and 2 relay outputs.

As well as standard IP routing functions, the Merlin 4707 also supports industrial protocol conversion, including IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 61850, Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3 and MQTT.

The robust metal housing, galvanically isolated power input and the extended operating temperature range of -20 to +65 °C make the router suitable for long-term use in demanding industrial environments.

With Westermo Activator, these routers can also be configured centrally and, via zero-touch deployment, commissioned on a large scale and updated remotely."
