As an independent importer, Bintz Technics has been an established name in the automation world for many years. For more than 50 years, we have been working closely with our customers and have gained in-depth knowledge of the industrial automation market. From our head office in Zaventem, our team of 14 employees supports our customers in Belgium and Luxembourg.

To realise our further growth, we are looking for a technically competent Sales Engineer for the Antwerp, Limburg and Flemish Brabant region.

Function

  • As a Sales Engineer, you are the main point of contact for the customer. You are the face of the company!
  • You help the customer in their search for a suitable solution.
  • You will advise on our Drives, Motion & Control and industrial IoT solutions in new and existing automation and digitisation projects.
  • You will be responsible for existing customers in the region and will also seek out new opportunities in the market (50-50 ratio).
  • You will have the freedom and flexibility to make your own technical and commercial decisions.
  • You enjoy building long-term relationships with customers.
  • You will report directly to the manager.
  • You are extremely customer-focused; helping a customer find the most suitable solution gives you a buzz!

Profile

  • You are a technical-commercial go-getter, proactive, sociable and organised.
  • Initial work experience in a commercial position is desirable.
  • You have the necessary affinity with technology, as evidenced by your choice of study and/or previous work experience.
  • You are passionate about technology, and more specifically, IIoT / Industry 4.0 within the world of automation is right up your alley.
  • Industrial protocols such as Profinet, Profibus and EtherCAT are familiar terms to you.
  • You enjoy visiting customers. Traffic and frequent travel do not deter you.
  • You are looking for a stable working environment that also offers long-term prospects.
  • You preferably live in the Antwerp, Limburg or Flemish Brabant region.
  • Dutch is your mother tongue and you have a good knowledge of French and English.
