Westermo Merlin 4610 - LTE/LTE450 Router

"The Westermo Merlin 4610 is an industrial mobile dual-radio router designed for secure and reliable data communication via 4G LTE Cat-4 and private LTE networks operating at 450 MHz. The router has been specifically developed for critical infrastructure, such as electrical substations, energy supply networks, smart grids and industrial applications.

Thanks to its dual-radio technology, the Merlin 4610 can utilise both public 4G LTE networks and private LTE networks. Depending on the model, the router supports LTE frequency band 72 or bands 31 and 40.

The Merlin 4610 features 6 x 100 Mbit/s Ethernet ports, 2 SIM card slots and 2 serial ports that can be configured as RS-232 or RS-485.

In addition to standard IP routing functions, the Merlin 4610 also supports industrial protocol conversion, including IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 61850, Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3 and MQTT.

The robust metal housing, galvanically isolated power and Ethernet ports, and the extended operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C make the router suitable for long-term use in demanding environments.

With Westermo Activator, these routers can also be configured centrally and commissioned on a large scale via zero-touch deployment, as well as updated remotely."
