Westermo Merlin 4106 - LTE/NB-IoT Router

"The Westermo Merlin 4106 is a range of compact industrial mobile routers designed for secure and reliable data communication via 4G LTE Cat-4 and LTE-M/NB-IoT.

Depending on the model, the Merlin 4106 supports 4G LTE Cat-4 or LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT. The routers feature four 100 Mbit/s Ethernet ports, two SIM card slots and a multifunctional connector that can be configured as an RS-232 interface or as digital inputs. In addition to standard IP routing functions, the Merlin 4106 also supports industrial protocol conversion, including IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 61850, Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3 and MQTT.

The extended operating temperature range of -20 to +70 °C makes the router suitable for long-term use in demanding industrial environments.

Furthermore, with Westermo Activator, these routers can be configured centrally and commissioned and updated on a large scale via zero-touch deployment.
