KENDRION Anchor plates

The choice of armature plate is based on the diameter of the holding or adhesive magnet. Kendrion armature plates are matched to the standard diameters of the corresponding holding or adhesive magnets. This ensures an ideal closure of the magnetic field between the electromagnet's poles, resulting in maximum holding force.

Using third-party armatures—which may be thinner, have a rougher surface, or be made of different metals—can result in suboptimal holding force. Kendrion armatures are protected against corrosion by chemical nickel plating.

A mounting arrangement that allows for slight flexibility is recommended; this permits a degree of angular misalignment (axial) between the armature and the magnet, ensuring optimal holding force under all conditions.
