Linear Solenoids

A direct acting solenoid is a device in which the stroke movement is effected by electromagnetic force from stroke starting position to stroke end position. The reset is performed by an external force like spring, gravitation and magnetic force.

The fields of application of linear solenoids are almost unlimited. Frame solenoids and high performance solenoids are universal applicable linear solenoids. While for frame solenoids the focus is on individual mounting options, the high performance solenoids excel with their modular design.

The product lines are supplemented by the high power line which combines high forces and large strokes. The electromagnets are used manifold, e.g. in safety switches or as actuating elements for process automation or for machine building. Especially for precise switching with high dynamics, Kendrion offers with the control solenoids another product group that is particularly suited for the application of transport systems and as control member.
